The galaxies of the George Lucas saga and a great mandala dedicated to the planet
“A tribute to the planet we walk on every day.” Kean Etro describes the Men’s collection for spring-summer 2020, a journey that starts from the star wars to the deserts of Earth. That is painted in the center of the catwalk, in the form of mandala and whose design was dissolved by the models at the end of the show, on the notes of Pink Floyd. The Millennium Falcon landed directly in a garage in Milan, where the collection was first presented.
TRA NOMADISMO AND MONDI LONTANI – Deserts, lands of travel and displacement, places of silences and inner geographies, emotions and memories. The colors evoke sand and arid lands, the mood of the collection is that of a ‘new hippie’, free and refined.
The images of Yoda and Luke Skywalker and the posters of the films ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ and ‘Star Wars’ are printed on t-shirts, sweatshirts and shirts of the capsule, the special line born from Etro’s collaboration with Lucas Film, on sale for a few weeks and already a must have.
Just a few months before the arrival in Italian cinemas of the ninth episode of the saga.
