Elton John enters the world of eyewear thanks to the collection created in collaboration with Sam’s Club and Walmart. Each frame pays homage to a phase of his long career, from ‘Rocketman’ to ‘A-List’. “Elton John Eyewear celebrates trust, personal expression and authenticity. The project will include four collections: The Foundations Collection, The Formative Years, The Working Musician and The Master Collection. The Foundations Collection consists of 60 models, 36 of which are exclusive to Sam’s Club and the rest for Walmart. In addition to sunglasses, there are also prescription lenses. The Master Collection section will be heavily inspired by historical models worn by Elton John. Each model will be signed by the British star and will be sold only through Sam’s Club starting at $ 350. Walmart will donate a minimum of $ 1 million a year from the sale of the glasses to the Elton John Aids Foundation.
