A modern past for Eastpak: Marcelo Burlon shares his fantasies for extraordinary collaboration

Marcelo Burlon is a polyphonic artist: stylist, photographer and lover of street style. He moved to Italy from Patagonia to give vent to his art. His first creation are monochromatic t-shirts with kaleidoscopic designs that recall the visionary and futuristic street style of the ’80s and’ 90s.

The designer has created a capsule collection in collaboration with Eastpak, the best known brand of teenagers. This new collection “The future of Retro” has been presented on the catwalks of the Milan Fashion Week: under the spotlight bags, backpacks, marsupi and travel bags.

The motifs printed on a monochromatic black background recall the psychedelic lights, for a casual style that does not go unnoticed. A little back but with a look to the future, the new capsule collection Eastpak X Marcelo Burlon is waiting to be discovered.

Waterproofness, resistance and fashion are the key words that distinguish the stylistic masterpiece we are talking about.

The backpacks are entirely waterproof and characterized by a hallucinogenic glitch print perfect for a dream streetstyle, moreover the colored details make the product more appealing but at the same time fun. Of particular importance is the presence of a special laptop compartment, perfect for young university students.

Another essential accessory of the collection is the baby carrier, which has the same fantasy of the backpack. The strap embroidered with the “MILAN” print is the highlight as it pays tribute to the birthplace of the Marcelo Burlon brand “County of Milan”.

Finally, the last collector’s piece is the travel bag. Lightweight, practical and comfortable to carry will make the trips a walk. The psychedelic print reigns on the fabric and gives character to the accessory.
