This spring will see Dolce & Gabbana join the line-up at Baselworld the prestigious watch and jewellery show taking place on 30 April to 5 May in Basel, Switzerland. The move signals a deeper dive into the world of fine jewellery and high-end watchmaking.“Baselworld will be an accelerator for our business. Michel Loris-Melikoff and his team were able to listen to our needs by proposing an innovative concept that corresponds to our ambitious development strategy” said Alfonso Dolce, CEO of Dolce & Gabbana. This is not the first time the group has had a presence at the event, however in the past Dolce & Gabbana was represented by a licensed partner, which showcased watch and jewellery collections for a young audience. This time around, rather than showcasing smaller collections, the group is going full steam ahead with its latest and most advanced jewellery and watch creations, including pieces from the Alta Gioielleria and Alta Orologeria Collections.
