424 is one of the top brands available from Michele Franzese Moda. The menswear brand with a luxury streetwear focus stands out for a casual style, with garments made with resistant and high quality materials that help to give a relaxed tailored look characterized by industrial finishes. The brand’s vibrant and iconic graphics are personally hand-drawn by founder Guillermo Andrade and offer a custom size for each garment.

Andrade established 424 in 2015 as an offshoot of his Fairfax boutique. His effortless approach to workwear-inspired design mixes elements culled from contemporary art, paired with the unique nonchalant spirit of L.A, interpreted via easy-to-wear staples. Rendered in durable premium materials and industrial finishings, the collection is Made in Italy.

Personally designed piece-by-piece; oftentimes involving hand-painted details; 424’s pieces are the product of a different design mentality—one that believes that each piece needs to be as unique as its eventual owner.

Guillermo Andrade, 424’s head of design and the co-founder of FourTwoFour on Fairfax, has long been fêted for pioneering LA’s burgeoning urban streetwear movement. Acknowledging both the beauty and the underbelly of his adopted home, Andrade’s past collections have dealt straightforwardly with topics such as police brutality, which he chose to communicate via graphic sweatshirts alongside the periodic single bold flower or the iconic red captain style armbands that have become synonymous with the brand. Arriving in California from Guatemala at the age of 12 while barely speaking English, Andrade nonetheless found himself obsessed with discovering and wearing unique styles beyond the norm. Ultimately, he realized that this was his calling, and has been at the forefront of a global fashion movement ever since.

424 Is currently stocked in approximately 100 handpicked retailers worldwide. It is the official global formal wear partner of the Arsenal Football Club for the 2019/2020 & 2020/2021 seasons. 424 and Adidas released co-branded sneakers for FW 2019 and a larger capsule collection featuring more sneakers and refined sportswear and tailoring items for SS 2020 to select global retailers. In May of 2018, 424 released a licensed limited-edition project with the Tupac estate, presented exclusively at Barneys Los Angeles, which represents one of the few genuine collaborations with the deceased icon. An 11-piece collection in concert with Knoxville’s Alpha Industries, the inimitable OG of military millinery fashion, saw 424 presenting Alpha archive- inspired military garments tinged with graphics acknowledging the war in Vietnam’s infamous Agent Orange offensives.
