Otb closes 2019 at 1.53 billion euros, an increase of 6.4% compared to 2018. Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Viktor & Rolf and Amiri brands, Staff International and Brave Kid companies are part of Otb group. In the general positive scenario, the main focus is the Diesel turnaround which has started growing again, recording a 2.6% increase in revenues. “The Diesel brand is worth 60% of the group’s turnover and in 2019 it began to benefit from the important work that saw Renzo Rosso at the forefront, who returned to operating level”. The work on Diesel was also a repositioning, since the brand “has expanded the target of customers by moving also to younger clients who, in recent years, had shown an interest in the brand”. The effect can also be seen on e-commerce: Diesel recorded a direct channel growth of 24.3%, which added to the indirect e-commerce business increases the turnover of the brand created online to over 11%.
