Daniel Lee surprisingly leaves the creative helm of Bottega Veneta, a maison of the Kering group. In the last three years Lee has favored the stylistic relaunch of the brand and a significant increase in sales. The announcement of Lee’s separation from Bottega Veneta comes just before the delivery of the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in which the designer was nominated in two categories: International women’s wear designer of the year and International men’s wear designer of the year. In a week’s time, Daniel Lee will compete for the title of designer of the year at the London Fashion Awards. On the occasion of the 2019 Fashion Awards Lee won 4 awards: Accessories designer of the year, British womenswear designer of the year, Brand of the year and Designer of the year.
