According to a study by eMarketer, reported by Wwd, China’s retail market is going to become the world largest retail market during this year, with 5 trillion dollars of sales compared to 4.8 billion in the United States. The constant battle between the Asian e-commerce giants, Alibaba and Pinduoduo and the innovations in the digital field, which have accelerated the recovery after the health emergency linked to the spread of Covid-19, contribute to the expansion. Record results include’s 618 shopping festival (June 18, that’s why 618) and Alibaba’s Singles Day in November.
