The French couturier founded in 1945 the fashion house that made his name a byword for elegance. He was obsessed by the research of the perfect clothing.  Balmain specialities were bell-shaped and eventful skirts with precious textile: crêpe in wool and silk, shantung or brocade. Great attention on details, special embroideries. His work is characterized by an edgy style. Today, Balmain is under the direction of Oliver Rousteing, he gave a very sensual touch with some rock influences to the brand. For Rousteing it is very easy to decide which models to include in his Kids line: he just needs to work on those of the show of the first line that mothers and fathers ask him to make for their children. In fact, among these designer girls’ garments, miniature versions of the symbol of the fashion house are perfectly recognizable: the legendary French haute couture house has become an iconic contemporary label, famous for its blazers with refined cuts, the denim in motorcycle style and luxury sports uniforms. A distinctive DNA of the brand that is also instilled in Balmain children: logo miniatures in the form of bomber jackets, sweatshirts and a fresh and clean monochrome palette.
