“When I was young, my grandmother used to take me to my grandfather’s room and always gave me some of her clothes or accessories. Whenever he gave me something special, he always said ‘please handle it carefully’, that’s how ‘Manage with freedom’. It is a mood in life and work”. In 2019, Giotto Calendoli creates Handle With Freedom, blending culture and nostalgia in a unisex clothing line for his generation. The transition from “cure” to “freedom” comes from the desire of today’s young people to be free to draw on the past while dreaming of a bold future.
