Leena Nair is Chanel’s new global CEO and will hold the new position from the end of January 2022. The position had previously been held by the co-owner of the house, Alain Wertheimer who will now become Chanel’s global executive president. Nair has been chief human resources officer and member of the executive board of Unilever since 2016 and is also a non-executive member of British Telecom, the board of directors of the Leverhulme Trust and was non-executive director of the British government’s Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy department
