Chanel invests in the digital format and launches ‘Chanel Connects’, animated by some of the most celebrated contemporary talents from cinema, architecture, dance, music and fashion. Launched on Apple, Spotify and Chanel.com, the initiative has already involved Nicholas Cullinan of the National Portrait Gallery, artist Jennifer Packer, musician Pharrell Williams, actress Tilda Swinton and Vogue UK director Edward Enninful. Among the topics covered there are the impact of technology on creativity, the role that culture should play for social change and how museums intend to organize the reopening of their spaces. Luxury companies are increasingly investing in podcasts. Chanel was a forerunner having launched the dedicated ‘3.55’ section back in 2017.
