Chanel has decided not to present the cruise 2020-21 fashion show scheduled in Capri on May 7 with parades in Piazzetta and Villa Lysis. The communication is the latest of the postponements announced, after Hermès, Dior, Gucci, Armani, Versace, Alberta Ferretti and Max Mara: the world of luxury thus implements the preventive measures necessary to contain the epidemic of Coronavirus. The French maison in Capri (that has opened a boutique at the beginning of via Camerelle, right in front of the historic Grand Hotel Quisisana, emblem of Capri luxury) is monitoring the evolution of the health emergency with great attention. It’s reflecting on alternative ways to present the collection on the island of Campania later, hopefully in the summer anyway, as soon as the situation permits.
