Chanel claims its traditional agenda which includes six fashion shows per year including prêt-à-porter, pre-collections and couture. The president Bruno Pavlovsky claims the “accelerated” rhythm condemned by other fashion houses and the importance of fashion shows: “I don’t know if the right number is two or six, it depends on the brand. But the défilé represents the beginning of the story and the rhythm is marked by the ability to deliver new goods to the boutiques every two months, and we are comfortable with this cadence. Each collection is quite fast and focused on a topic, this type of storytelling is developed six times a year “. Chanel also confirms its presence at Paris fashion week, underlines the strategic role of the Cruise and Métiers D’Art appointments (pre-fall, ed) and has unveiled the cruise 2021 collection online on its digital platforms, initially planned for Capri on May 7.
