‘The State of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Fashion Report’ is the research resulting from the partnership between PVH and the CFDA that analyzes the condition, working speaking, of minorities in American fashion and the aspects on which to work to improve it. According to the study, which surveyed over a thousand workers from 41 different companies, there are six key areas of opportunity that fashion realities should work on: awareness, access, promotion, support, compensation and belonging. According to the study, for real changes to occur, actions must be taken at the individual, company level (e.g. being inclusive at the level of workers, suppliers, stakeholders in general and communication), and at the industry level in general (with actions taken at the level of influencers, associations, schools, agencies).
