Calvin Klein has opened a new store in the heart of the Le Marais neighborhood, in Paris’ fourth arrondissement. Until now, the brand only operated one store in the French capital, at the Forum des Halles mall, which only carried underwear. Located at 42 Rue des Francs-Bourgeois, the new 293-square-meter flagship is the first of its kind to offer customers in-store personalization services.
The store will offer all of the American brand’s different lines: Calvin Klein Jeans and Underwear, the label’s ready-to-wear line Calvin Klein: Calvin Klein, and its activewear line Calvin Klein Performance.  The flagship has also been kitted out with new retail technologies, such as digital screens and tablets that can help customers make choices about products and sizes.
The store also includes a “laboratory” space allowing shoppers to customize a range of different products including t-shirts and denim jackets. Calvin Klein products are distributed in some 110 countries and brought in sales of around $9 billion in 2018. The brand, which has been owned by PVH since 2003, employs approximately 11,500 people around the world.
