Coronavirus leaves no way out for luxury brands and, in this case, also for Burberry. The British brand has infact announced that, in the past six weeks, sales in its stores have decreased between 40 and 50 percent. If in February the business most affected was the one that involved the Asian markets, and specifically China, now recovering, sales in Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa and America have been affected in recent weeks. Over 60% and 85% of the stores have been closed here, while the remaining ones still open work at shorter hours. In total, around 40% of Burberry’s direct stores worldwide are currently closed, and other stores may lower the gate over the next few days.
