Tommy Hilfiger will receive the Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2021 Fashion Awards scheduled for Monday 29 November at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The designer will be awarded by the British fashion council (BFC) for his contribution to the global fashion industry and for his constant commitment to creating an inclusive brand in support of individuality. From innovative partnerships and celebrity sponsorships, to promoting inclusiveness and diversity in the fashion industry, to pioneering sustainability initiatives, Tommy Hilfiger has been one of the most influential players of the past two decades and an inspiration for future generations. In 2020 the designer launched the People’s place program in support of the Black lives matter movement. The company supports various international initiatives and charities, including Save the children, Autism speaks and the World wildlife fund. Previous award winners include Giorgio Armani, Miuccia Prada, Ralph Lauren, Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour, Terry and Tricia Jones, and Manolo Blahnik.
