After the risk of bankruptcy is the first license plate Philippe Camperio
The Borsalino Spring-Summer 2019 collection presented at the showroom in Milan is inspired by the glamor of the eighties, the first after the company’s transition to the Haeres Equita of the Italian-Swiss businessman Philippe Camperio.
An elegant and vintage collection, which tells a new decade a fervent decade of creativity and ideas.
The new creations wink to the great designers called in 1980 by Borsalino and Domus magazine to design hats for an exhibition of prototypes.
These include Gae Aulenti, Mario Bellini, Achille Castiglioni, Vico Magistretti, Paolo Portoghesi, Roberto Sambonet and Ettore Sottsass.
From these revisits, a bold collection was born, which mixes strong colors, geometric patterns and animaliers. Hats designed for millennials and post millennials that love the timeless luxury of Borsalino.
The men’s collection is more classic with, among other things, the inevitable Panama Montecristi interwoven with the most precious straw in the world.
