Louis Vuitton unveiled a video clip with an elegiac collection that talked about black culture during the Parisian menswear Fashion Week. the video begins with dizzying shots of an alpine mountain massif, and then moves on to a series of beautiful and elegant skaters. For fall 2021, designer Virgil Abloh wants the Vuitton man to wear long ankle-length coats with intercontinental airplane-shaped buttons, all topped with looming fedoras or cowboy hats, finished with wide silk bands. The standout outfits are a business dress made of transparent plastic and paired with a bright yellow tote bag with the words “Tourist VS Purist”; a monogrammed parka in steel-colored felt, and a series of pictorial Scottish plaids used in kilts, denim jackets and spy coats.
