Olivier Rousteing presents Summer / Spring 22 at Paris fashion week with a concert to celebrate ten years at the helm of Balmain. The event combined music and fashion by celebrating Olivier Rousteing’s 10-year tenure with a special performance by Doja Cat and a voice memo from longtime friend Beyonce, who recounted the ten years of the designer at the helm of the house. Rousteing celebrated it all with sensual, neutral-toned dresses with hints of red and gold, redefining Balmain’s shimmering opulence. The models wore utility-inspired pieces accessorized with chunky gold jewelry and contemporary pieces, from futuristic sunglasses to down jackets. The runway lights then lit up on fringes, draperies, parachute effects, gold accents and chains. Open applause for Naomi Campbell who opened the finale based on supermodels such as Nadege, Milla Jovovic, Natasha Poly and Mariacarla Boscono, up to the former premiere dame Carla Bruni.
