In an interview with WWD, Giorgio Armani promotes the ‘slow’ model and sustainability: the designer speaks of respect for consumers, for the planet and also for his own work which should not be devalued due to an excess of production and communication. In addition to merging pre-collections and runway proposals, Armani recently introduced the green R-EA collection by Emporio Armani, bringing the sustainable percentage for the AX Armani Exchange line to 40% as well as the commitment to use natural materials also for Armani Casa. The designer also invited celebrities not to wear their clothes on the red carpet just once, but to show them off on more than one occasion, just as happened during the recent premiere of La Scala in Milan.
