Alexander McQueen opens its first boutique in Florence, in via Tornabuoni, following the new concept created by creative director Sarah Burton with architect Smiljan Radic. The opening of the store, which will host women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, anticipates other important moves by the Kering fashion house. The move of the flagship store from via Pietro Verri, where it is currently located, to via Sant’Andrea 21, remains scheduled in the second half of the year. The next stops will be Miami Design District in July, Tokyo Omotesando by the end of July and Soho New York in August.
