The essential, refined and minimal style of Alessio Spinelli has conquered Fragiacomo: Federico Pozzi Chiesa, President of the maison who has in fact wanted to entrust the Creative Department to him.

The gritty aesthetics of the Roman designer joins the decisive elegance and continuous evolution of a brand that has been able to decline the craftsmanship and its stylistic codes in authentic timeless pieces. “Alessio has immediately made his DNA of Fragiacomo, stating the guidelines and being able to interpret without distorting a physiological evolution of the brand giving it back that vanguard that has always characterized the fashion house from a stylistic point of view” – says Federico Pozzi Chiesa .

In the models of the collection, in fact, the essential creativity of research and technology by Alessio Spinelli dialogues with the wealth of its archives to reinterpret the romantic coté of the most classic shoes thanks to a contemporary and intimately rock twist.

So the floral work, authentic signature of the brand, debuts in a punk key but in the sign of balance and harmony, while the metal buckles and the total black uppers break, but only in appearance, the floreal couture of the embroidery with a catchy but classic effect .

And yet, a lively and irreverent mash up, in constant harmony with the iconic forms of the brand’s tradition, moves the lightning, iconic and ironic enough, on cult models such as slingback or Mary Jane, in an ideal celebration of excellence Italian.
In the new course, particular importance will also be reserved to the bag accessory: the collection will include 30 look bags that, revisited in the color palette and in the appeal, with a softly glam-rock tone, recall and enhance the great classics of the Fragiacomo tradition, from bellows model to sachet model.

Backed by decades of experience with historic Roman fashion houses – from Roberto Capucci to Sarli to Gattinoni – the shoe designer has also collaborated with famous brands of footwear such as Jimmy Choo, René Caovilla, Lanvin and Prada, bringing forward, at the same time, personal projects that allowed him to win the “Who is on Next” of Vogue in 2011, which have imposed him among the most interesting Italian talents.
