Awareness is growing among the top brands for a sustainable and increasingly green haute couture revolution

The fashion trends of Fall/Winter 2022-23

The most glamorous trends for next fall/winter 22-23 are just waiting for the end of summer to explode! All the most interesting trends were launched during the previous Fashion Weeks (in New York, London, Milan and Paris) and there are those who are already wondering what they will wear once the extreme, summer heat is over. What has been recorded is that the world of high fashion after the spring \ summer collections, currently underway, in which lightheartedness and lightness have been the most recurring points of reference, also by virtue of the long-awaited optimism of the recovery post-pandemic, it has returned to reflect, question itself and express itself, in its own way, on what is happening in the world. In fact, beyond some hints of color such as Valentino’s fuchsia, we can say that black is once again dominant and brands such as Balenciaga and Marni have already tried to propose stylistically solutions to communicate pain and hope about the current war in Ukraine. The stylists also confirm their desire to retrieve solutions from the beginning of the millennium. On the one hand, the 2000s among styles, colors and materials represent a source of inspiration for the creation of new and increasingly layered looks, while on the other, Tik Tok and the Metaverse provide new elements of inspiration drawn directly from the new generations. The collaboration between brands continues to give excellent results, as is the case with Gucci and adidas originals, Off White and Church’s, Burberry and Supreme, with highly desired limited editions. The autumn proposals are also presented in a dual way: elegance, comfort, genderless, hyper feminine sensuality, micro and macro, oversized and slim, opposite poles as evidenced also by the white tank top that is worn with transparent longuette, corsets that improvise bibs , shorts that appear just below long coats, graphic t-shirts that pop out of ultra-tailored outerwear. The most recurring garments among the after-summer trends are miniskirts, corsets, wide-leg trousers and aviator jackets, while the materials are mainly three: denim, leather and transparent fabrics, even better if enriched with crystals or lace. The iconic flight jacket appears in different formulas including Miu Miu, LaQuan Smith and Off-White, Louis Vuitton, Lemaire, Prada, Versace and Raf Simons. The white tank top becomes a cool item between Prada and Raf Simons who have chosen to use this essential as a base for the looks of the new collection but also Bottega Veneta. The corset acquires great stylistic versatility between Balmain as a protective armor, Dior as a technological device, Fendi as a classic chic and feminine element, Versace as an ultra sexy and eco fetish element. The denims always present in our wardrobe are reworked in different sartorial expressions both for men and women. Wide-leg trousers with a very 1950s soft fit are also recurring. The leather creations are preferred by Fendi, Saint Laurent and Prada, Bottega Veneta and Missoni. There is no shortage of transparencies for the after summer trends with sheer fabrics, laces and silks to sensualize the silhouettes. With miniskirts and micro-miniskirts the focus on the legs remains high Miu Miu proposes them with ultra-low waist and very short, tennis-inspired, Diesel plays with an extreme reduction of the fabric, Coperni and Blumarine combine them with Parisian and stockings, Courreges instead there with the boots high above the knee. Here are some of the after summer trends!
